The Pat Keaton Community Scholarship
The Pat Keaton Community Scholarship provides two deserving North Tapps Middle School students $500 towards their post secondary education upon completion of high school. This is a scholarship intended for students with strong community involvement. Factors such as school/extra curricular actives, special interests and talents, jobs held, conduct and grades will be important in the selection process. Students must attend a post secondary accredited school or vocational program.
The application process will be in three stages. Stage one includes completing the application form and 150 word essay. Stage two includes two letters of recommendation fro the top 20 finalists. Stage three includes an interview with DEF Board members for the top 10 finalists.
The Scholarship is being administered by the Dieringer Education Foundation.
The scholarship will be sent to the student in the late summer after they demonstrate acceptance into any post secondary accredited school or vocational program.
